OVIA is a yoga and pilates studio with a gentler idea of practice, one shaped less by pressure, performance and perfection and more by curiosity, consistency and how you actually feel. The brief was a website that feels like walking in: the room first, the schedule second, and enough space between the two to take a breath.

Website design: home, about and class booking
2026
A space to move.
A way to return.
OVIA does not sell a transformation. It sells a place and a rhythm: classes you can come back to through different seasons of life, taught calmly, in rooms that are lit by the day. So the website is built the same way. Photographs run to the edge, type is a light serif set small and a long way apart, and one olive green carries every card, tag and footer.
The three pages follow the studio's own order of things: the idea, the practice, the booking. The home page opens on a silhouette against a curtain, the about page on a woman in a long lunge, and booking is a calendar on a green panel laid over a dark room.
The first screen of the about page: the wordmark at the edge, the pose in the middle of the light
Olive, cream
and one teardrop.
Three colours do the work: the olive of the cards and the footer, a warm cream for the page and an ink that is nearly black but a little green. The rest of the palette is borrowed from the photographs, plaster, timber and the terracotta of one arched wall. The wordmark is a flared serif in capitals whose apostrophe is a teardrop, a small mark that reads as a breath.

One disc,
one breath.
The design has one recurring device: a disc that sits on the seam between a photograph and the olive panel and swaps what each side shows, olive where the picture is, picture where the olive is. We gave it a lung. Scroll and it breathes in as the practice begins, lets the air out over a second room and almost closes over a third, one line of the studio's creed for each. Left alone it keeps breathing, and the pointer leans it.

Three pages,
one slow rhythm.
Each page is a column of short scenes on cream, with a photograph or a green panel between them. Pictures overlap the edges of the grid, headings are small and set in a light serif, and the only loud thing is the olive of the membership cards, the middle one raised a little above the other two.
Movement for the way you live, then the introduction, four ways OVIA moves, a voice from the studio, the rooms and three memberships.
A space to move and a way to return, the story, how the studio practises, the studio itself and four ideas to come back to.
Make time for your practice: choose a date, a class and a time on a green calendar, with the questions people ask underneath.
The pages,
one scene at a time.
The same few moves everywhere: a photograph that runs to the edge, a cream panel laid on top of it, a thin hairline circle crossing the page and a green block where something must be chosen. Here they are, cut from the three pages.
The home page: the menu, the wordmark and one line over a silhouette
The introduction, and a row of rooms that runs off both edges
Four ways OVIA moves: the photograph, the olive panel and the disc on the seam
How we practise: four short rules that open one at a time
Four ideas we return to, on a strip that slides sideways
The studio: one photograph with a smaller one laid over its corner
Three memberships, the middle one raised
The about page opens on a long lunge
Booking: a calendar, a choice of classes and the times that are free
Frequently asked questions, as quiet rows
The close: a card laid on a dark room, then the olive footer and the wordmark
Light, a mat
and a body.
The photographs carry the brand: low sun on plaster, a mat the colour of the logo, bodies in sage and sand. They are shown here whole, as the pages use them.
A wide stance in a room with a garden beyond the glass
A side bend on a stone bench
A long lunge across the floor, in a shaft of light
Sitting at an open window, hands raised
A reformer class under an arched window
A hand resting on the mat
A balance on the mat against a pale wall
The strength corner: weights, a bench and a mat
The pages,
moving.
Four clips came with the design. The home and about covers, the first screen of the about page and a collage of the strength section, the studio and the hands, each shown at its own ratio.

For the shots the pages step out of the frame: the booking page, the site on a laptop on a bentwood chair, the strength section and the four ideas. The home page is the cover at the top.
