Nexwell makes clean, simple daily supplements, starting with a daily synbiotic: thirty capsules, one a day. The brief was a website that feels as uncomplicated as the routine it sells, so the pages are quiet, cream and generous, and everything alive in them, the moss, the logs, the capsules, comes from photographs.

Wellness and daily supplements

Wellness without
the complicated part.

Supplements are usually sold with noise: long lists, loud claims, laboratory white. Nexwell wanted the opposite. One clean formula, a short daily habit, and a brand that feels like it came from somewhere green.

So the site is built the way the routine is. Cream paper and small type carry the words, soft glass cards hold the facts, and the pictures do the rest: a dark green jar resting on moss, a log in the grass, capsules falling into the light.

The jar in the trees: the photograph behind the home page's first screen

Moss, bark
and one jar.

The palette is what is in the pictures: the dark green of the jar, the yellow-green of fresh moss, the brown of old bark. Cream paper sits under all of it, sage marks the buttons and tags, and graphite closes every page behind the wordmark, which is round, wide and lowercase, with an x made of two arcs that nearly touch.

The capsule

One round pen,
one soft line.

The wordmark is drawn with one round pen: every letter is a single line, thickened into the same soft stroke. The name reads as one gesture, like the capsule it sells.

  1. Each letter is one line between the x-height and the baseline. The two l rise on to the ascender.
  2. Every turn sits on a circle: the bowls of the w, the e with its bar, the small circles the arms of the x turn on. The arch of the n is a flattened one.
  3. The line becomes a stroke of one weight with round ends, thirty units on the stems and a hair lighter on the e and the x.

Small habits,
slowly green.

The jar holds thirty capsules, one a day, and the site is built on the same idea: small habits that add up. So the mossy log from the home page becomes a calendar. Scroll to let the days pass and the moss closes over it from three corners; move the pointer and it blooms wherever you touch.

Every ingredient has a purpose and nothing is added to fill the jar. The first ten days are just that: one capsule, one habit, bare wood.

The routine finds its place in the morning. Green starts to come back, patch by patch, where it was left alone.

A jar later, the log is covered and the habit is a habit. Nothing hidden, nothing added, and the supply is a month long.

One jar,
thirty days.

The product page puts the Daily Synbiotic on a floating island of moss, with a buy box in soft glass on one corner and four short promises around the jar further down. It is the same island that anchors the About page, so the product and the story are one picture.

Three pages,
all of them calm.

The home page opens on a photograph and gets lighter as it goes, the About page explains why the brand exists in three arcs of copy, and the product page sells one jar. Every page ends on the same meadow and the same graphite footer with the wordmark across it.

The first screen, a statement, core principles on glass cards, ingredients, reviews and the invitation to start.

Glass, moss
and paper.

The same few moves everywhere: a photograph that runs behind a headline, cards of frosted glass that let the moss show through, thin rules and one sage button. These are the pieces, cut from the pages.

Core principles: three frosted cards over a mossy log, each with its own dots

Designed around real routines: the jar on its island between three plain cards

Small habits create lasting change: reviews on tilted cards

Quiet light,
wet moss.

Between the pages the site goes outdoors. The photographs show the jar where it belongs, on stone by a stream, on a fallen log, on a mound of moss, beside a glass of water, and the lifestyle cards on the About page use them to say when the routine happens.

Ten slides,
one swipe.

The website told as a post: a monitor and the wordmark, the jar in the dew, the pages laid out, the capsule on a green wave and the principles on glass. Four of the slides are short clips and the others are stills, all cut to the same green.

For the shots the work steps out of the browser: the About page and the product page, each laid out whole between logs of moss. The home page is the cover at the top.
